A move to Queensland has reinvigorated Loving Home as he won his second straight start in the $150,000 Port Macquarie Cup (2000m).
Now based at Chris Waller’s Gold Coast stable, Loving Home was a winner at Ipswich last start and continued his good form with a strong win in Port Macquarie’s feature race.
Rider Tye Angland gave Loving Home a perfect trip, putting him to sleep on the rail and presenting him at the top of the straight. Loving Home powered over the top of his rivals to claim victory.
Selected by Mulcaster Bloodstock at Tattersalls Horses in Training Sale and purchased for 100,000 guineas by Chris Waller Racing, Loving Home has now won $362,862 in prizemoney with seven wins to his credit.
