Weary to be nominated for the All Aged Stakes

Chris Waller will give Weary the chance at Group 1 glory  in the All Aged Stakes at Royal Randwick.

Following a tough third in the Doncaster Mile, behind stablemates Sacred Falls and Royal Descent, Weary is set to drop back in distance and have his first shot at weight-for-age racing since arriving in Australia.

Weary, formerly known as Sir Patrick Moore before being purchased by Mulcaster Bloodstock for owner Geoff Grimish, earned his chance in the Doncaster with a gritty win in the Doncaster Prelude and then justified his presence in the $3 million Group 1, starting favourite and winding up late on the rain affected track.

It is expected that Tommy Berry will retain the ride on Weary in the All Aged Stakes.
