Gold-Fun’s sister purchased by Mulcaster Bloodstock

Mulcaster Bloodstock has purchased a half-sister to Hong Kong International Mile contestant Gold-Fun from the Tattersall’s December Mare Sale.

Stella Senza Cielo, by Elusive City out of Goodwood March, will be joining the extensive Raffles Farm broodmare band after being picked up for 100,00 guineas at the competitive sale.

Gold-Fun, trained by Richard Gibson, is one of the favourites in the prestigious Group 1 race at Sha Tin following three consecutive wins at Group level.

“She is a lovely type, by the time we get her home the pedigree will read much stronger given her brothers form from Hong Kong,” Mulcaster said.

Mulcaster Bloodstock, in conjunction with Bruce Sherwin, also picked up Aliante for Raffles Farm from the December Mare Sale for 100,000 guineas.

Aliante, by Sir Percy out of  Alexandrineis from one of the Aga Khan’s prolific family’s.
The most expensive purchase of the sale from Mulcaster Bloodstock was Monsun mare Give Me Five, also joining Raffles Farm for 250,000 guineas.
